Dawn-Louise Kerr, owner and the brains behind #HertsHour was a finalist in the Best Networker category of the local Best Businesswoman Awards this week.
Just pipped at the post and up against some tough competition, Dawn-Louise was delighted to have even been a finalist.
"I'm proud of how far we've come with #HertsHour in just a few months," she said. "Our business directory is growing and the blog is being read more widely now.
"Of course, Monday night wouldn't be complete without #HertsHour at 8 pm!"
The idea behind #HertsHour is to encourage and support collaboration in the county. "We're giving some great local businesses the chance to showcase what they're doing and that's immensely gratifying," said Dawn.
So, as Monday continues to revolve for many of us around the 8 pm #HertsHour slot, we're also getting involved with conversations during the week. Many of us have met (in real life!) people we only met through #HertsHour and that's sparking some great business collaborations.
Well done to Dawn-Louise for making it happen and receiving her finalist certificate among some other impressive businesswomen at Batchwood House this week.
